Your certificate will be printed and in the mail to you the very next business day after completing the class.  There is no extra charge for this expedited service!!

Will I get a discount on my auto insurance, even if I am taking defensive driving for ticket dismissal?
Yes! Everyone who takes Defensive Driving is eligible for a discount of up to 10% for 3 years. You will receive TWO (2) certificates in the mail- one for COURT and one for an INSURANCE DISCOUNT. You are allowed to use both. Check with your insurance company to see if they give a discount.

If I take Defensive Driving for INSURANCE Discounts and I get a ticket, do I have to pay for the ticket?
NO! Every Texan is allowed to take Defensive Driving once a year for ticket dismissal- having taken the class only for an INSURANCE DISCOUNT does NOT forfeit your opportunity to have a ticket dismissed by attending Defensive Driving.

Can I have more than one ticket dismissed in a 12 month period?
It is up to the court you are dealing with. They can let you have more than one ticket dismissed if they choose to. They can also say NO if they choose to. It never hurts to ask.

What is a Driving Record and why do I need one?
Some courts (i.e.; City of Austin Municipal Court) require a Certified copy of your current driving record to be sent in with your DEFENSIVE DRIVING CERTIFICATE, This is a separate document that needs to be ordered by you the student. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE A DRIVING RECORD TO TAKE DEFENSIVE DRIVING- However, you will need to turn a driving record in with your defensive driving court certificate in order to have a ticket dismissed.

Where do I get a Certified copy of my driving record?
You can order it online at www.TexasOnline.com or you can order it by mail with a form you can get from DPS. We also have the forms available when you take our course.

In your two day classes may I take the first half one week and the second half the following week?
Absolutely yes. We try to make it easy for you to fit the six-hour course in to your busy schedule. We will work with you, however, you will need to complete the class at the location you start it at.

Do I need to make a reservation before coming to a class?
No reservations required - just arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the class begins.

What do I need to bring with me to class?
Bring your Texas Drivers license. For ticket dismissal, you need to know the name of the court where you got your ticket; please bring your ticket or any other paperwork you received from the court with you to class.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks or money orders.
